I remember showing up at my first networking event nervous to my core. Not only am I an introvert, I never thrive off of groups and grew up very socially awkward. After many forced meetings, I finally decided to find a different way to reach new clients. I decided writing and creating videos were a lot more supportive for me.
Meanwhile my colleague started her coaching practice in under a year by showing up to weekly group meetings. Go figure! In coaching, we understand that everyone has their own unique success formula in life! Once I let go of the way I "should" grow, I could embrace what worked better... for my formula. Locating what is going to work best for you is key. Joining programs that understand how to adapt to your unique needs and strengths is what creates the most profound results. Giving ourselves grace when other people's success formulas fall short for us, is freeing. Today's resource is about finding what kind of networker you are. How are you enjoying the work you do in the world? Is it fulfilling? Rewarding? Lucrative? Engaging? Life Enhancing? One of the aspects I love about being a professional coach is that my job gets to be all of those things. I have come to believe that people feel unfulfilled when a direction is calling them and they ignore the calling. We may be "good" at what we do, but are we fulfilled? This is the focus of today.
