Networking: Fun or Frightening?
I remember showing up at my first networking event nervous to my core. Not only am I an introvert, I never thrive off of groups and grew up very socially awkward. After many forced meetings, I finally decided to find a different way to reach new clients. I decided writing and creating videos were a lot more supportive for me.
Meanwhile my colleague started her coaching practice in under a year by showing up to weekly group meetings. Go figure!
In coaching, we understand that everyone has their own unique success formula in life! Once I let go of the way I "should" grow, I could embrace what worked better... for my formula.
Locating what is going to work best for you is key. Joining programs that understand how to adapt to your unique needs and strengths is what creates the most profound results. Giving ourselves grace when other people's success formulas fall short for us, is freeing.
Today's resource is about finding what kind of networker you are.
